The music i have chosen is done by a producer where he made the background beat called "Shores" i have asked him if i could record it and use it as my media video which he agreed on, me, the producer and kameron (the artist) have discussed this and kameron is currently writing's the lyrics for the song. The purpose of the song or what it is about we have not figured out yet but as it is one off his first music vidoes i will make the music video comprehend with the lyrics as there will be many metaphors as i believe these are the most popular. Grime has become big recently and is now recongised on the MOBO's so a lot of people are starting to get into to it, more of the white people are starting to get into it where before grime was seen as "black music" but now is seen as normally rave music which i beleive gets the people listening to it a lot of energy.
New Idea
Me and Kameron have discussed and decided to incorporate rap, grime and urban into one to create a unqiue hybrid to get people to listen too and start to begin to like. Kameorn is a new artist and not many people have heard off him so due to this i want to make a very unique sound that people will like and have grime flow in there similar off Skeptas and a new artist Stormzy to let people listen and begin to like Kameron as a artist.
As i said before grime has become big and more of the indie group have become recongised to listen too. Most of UK listen to the indie genre now so it is good to get a good amount of the Indie followers following the grime movement as grime is becoming more mainstream now.
The music grime has changed differently compared to in the 2000 where they used to have straightly 140bpm beats but after they went mainstream they started to make songs that they could play on the radio so they could become more known. But new artist have incorporated both high bpm music and making it mainstream so people who necessarily don't like grime will enjoy the music when played.
I would say old school grime has now become Urban grime
